Let’s be honest… second shooting is a bit of a dream job, isn’t it? No emails, no timelines to build, no family politics to juggle, just turning up, creating, and supporting another photographer to absolutely smash it. And that’s exactly how I treat it.

I’ve been shooting weddings since January 2008, yep… over 18 years now 👀, and alongside my own weddings, I’ve built up a huge amount of second shooting experience. I genuinely adore it and I think that shows in how I work on the day.

My Approach
My role is simple: support the lead photographer, stay unobtrusive, and help the day run smoothly. I always follow the lead photographer’s direction and shooting style, slotting in seamlessly with how you work. Not to take over, not to do my own thing, but to be a calm and reliable extra set of hands wherever needed.  That might mean grabbing alternative angles, helping organise groups, fixing veils, carrying bags, calming nerves, or keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.  If you’re relaxed, everything flows better, and that’s always my priority.  With over 18 years of wedding photography experience, I understand how important it is to anticipate what’s needed without getting in the way, and to support the lead so they can focus fully on the couple and the story of the day.

Content Creation & BTS

Drone Coverage
I also have a drone and can capture aerial shots if requested and if conditions and venue permissions allow. It’s a great little bonus to elevate your coverage.

​Alongside second shooting, I also offer experienced associate shooting for photographers who need a trusted, reliable photographer to support their brand on a wedding day.  This works best for photographers who want consistent, high quality coverage delivered in line with their approach and brief, while I work fully to their direction.  I understand how important it is to represent another photographer’s style accurately, professionally, and without ego.
